Where do you meet?

Harvest Community shares a church facility with Crossroads Bible Church which is located at 18511 E. Hampden Ave. #204, Aurora CO. We are in the Seven Hills Shopping Plaza (NE corner of Tower Rd. and Hampden). We are on the second floor, next to State Farm.

What time does the service start?

Services are on Sundays at 11 AM. We enjoy coffee and donuts with each other starting at 10:45 and then come into the sanctuary to worship together.

Where do I park?

Feel free to park in any of the open spaces in the shopping center. The spaces that are closest to the stairs are near the Natural Grocery store and for those who need stroller or handicap access can park anywhere near Music-Go-Round.

What should I wear?

Wear what is comfortable to you as we are not particular about it.

How do I find the restrooms, nursery, etc?

As you come into the building, you will find the sign for the restrooms straight ahead. Follow the sign to the right and the restrooms are on the right.

The Nursery is located in the first classroom on the right as you walk into the church.

Our Children’s classroom is located in classroom #2, which is the first classroom on the left.  As always, we are here to help you find what you need.

Do children and youth have their own service?

All ages worship together at Harvest but children and youth will have their own “Sunday School” time in our classrooms. Children and youth are dismissed once the singing has concluded.

Can I sit anywhere?

Absolutely, there are no assigned seats.

Am I expected to give something in the offering?

We don’t take an offering during the service rather we have two stations for giving located up front near the communion table and one at the entrance to the sanctuary. You are not obligated to give at all unless of course you want to.

How long will the service last?

Service should last about 1 hour. We sing for about 30 minutes and the sermon lasts about 30 minutes unless the pastor gets on a tangent then hold on (just kidding).

Is communion just for members, or for everyone?

Communion is for anyone who has placed their faith in Christ for salvation. We welcome you to join us at the Lord’s table, if that describes you.

Why are we singing?

We believe that God created music to express our feelings of thanks and praise to Him. We sing because it helps connect the truths of God with our hearts.

What style of music do you use?

We sing everything from ancient hymns to modern day choruses. We believe that every style of music has purpose and value in God’s kingdom.

Why is your church so small?

Smaller does not necessarily mean less. While we are fewer in number, we are a healthy congregation that thrives in a more family-like atmosphere where everyone has the opportunity to be known. We are not opposed to being bigger but are happy to be who we are and what God has called us to be. We are a smaller church that does not settle for less. Here is a great article about the goodness of small churches.
